about

YouTube Overdose!

300 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute, and the world spends hundreds of millions of hours a day watching! The post-television generation hail the device-agnostic YouTube app as it delivers instant content which satisfies every viewers needs.

It may be that the only true guarantee of YouTube success is novelty. The unexpected, the bizarre, the humorous, the offbeat, the emotionally affecting - these authentic elements are hard to bottle.

From cathode ray tubes to smartphones across the planet, “Y.T.O.D.” echoes the ever increasing need to absorb so much video content, be that from the comfort of the home or from the top of a mountain! Heavily influenced by The Normal’s T.V.O.D. and by a billion YouTube channels Y.T.O.D. is purposefully short (2m37s) to mimic the immediacy and the momentary, short, punchy video uploads. There is no warmth to the analog synths used here; just cold electronic noise and minimal beats.

Television in your hand!
